How are you all?! I miss you and hope y'all had an amazing week. I feel like time is flying!!!
Knocking the world's cutest street
Well, it's official to say Hanna is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! She was baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The whole ward loves her so much and her whole family showed up at the baptism!!! Her mom said to us, "This is going to be me soon, I can't wait to have the gift of the Holy Ghost!" I KNOW WHAT!! THEYRE LITERALLY GOLDEN AND DESERVE THE WORLD!
We made seven boxes of gluten free brownies (we love Hanna)

Gin and Hanna are our best friends
Hanna drew a picture on Saturday (I'll place picture down below) and showed us this on Sunday and explained the start of our eternal progression is having faith and coming to church and that her baptism is just the first step into eternal progression. She expressed how much she loves that no matter what, we can progress, and we know the progression is eternal and that God loves us so much he wants that for us!! I feel so lucky to be a part of her journey and watching her make that first step into eternal progression!!

I don't have a ton of things to say about this week that can top that! But I will tell you all how much I love this place and this ward. It's crazy to me how much strangers can turn into family. I love how you can walk into a church anywhere in the world and have a sense of belonging and know that we are all God's children!

Being so far away from home and everyone I know, it is not easy: in fact, it's one of the hardest things I've ever done. But I've also never felt closer to my Heavenly home, I've never felt God's love for myself and everyone around me so strong, and that's what makes every single step worth it. There is nothing more rewarding than watching people you come to love, grow a relationship with our Heavenly Father and help them understand they are NEVER alone.
To all my missionary besties: In Alma 29 when Ammon and Alma just got done with their work and they looked back and saw their success they said:
8 For behold, the Lord doth grant unto all nations, of their own nation and tongue, to teach his word, yea, in wisdom, all that he seeth fit that they should have; therefore, we see that the Lord doth counsel in wisdom, according to that which is just and true.
9 I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy.
10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.
I just want you all to remember that you were called to this work for a reason! The Lord knows you and he will answer your prayers. I'm grateful for all of you and the examples you are to me. This is the best work on the earth, and I feel so lucky to have some of my best friends doing the same work all over the world and helping others come to understand our Savior. His arm is always extended for us and to our friends!!! I love you all so much and so grateful for missionaries in the past who have changed lives and those of you who are reading this: GO ON A MISSION! IT'S WORTH IT I PROMISE!! WITH ALL OF THE TEARS ON MY PILLOW, I WILL TELL YOU TO GO. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Anyway, sorry for my tangent. I wasn't expecting that either! I just love you all and love this gospel that is full of eternal progression:) hope you all had the best week❤️
